Dr. Dinh graduated with honors from the University of Houston, earning a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Biology. He continued his education at the University of Houston, where he obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree.

During his clinical training, Dr. Dinh completed an externship at Memorial Eye Center, where he gained experience fitting a variety of scleral contact lenses. He also received extensive training in ocular disease management at The Heights Eye Clinic, focusing on conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. While there, he provided care to a diverse patient population, including Spanish-speaking patients, conducting comprehensive eye exams in Spanish.

Dr. Dinh is passionate about community service and volunteered with See to Succeed, offering free eye exams to underserved children in Houston-area schools.

​

Following his doctorate, Dr. Dinh completed a highly specialized residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His residency focused on managing complex corneal conditions such as keratoconus, corneal ectasia, neurotrophic keratitis, and corneal grafts. He also managed patients post-LASIK and post-cataract surgery.

Dr. Dinh is skilled in fitting a wide range of specialty contact lenses, including:

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), a recognition of excellence in optometric practice and continued professional development.

Dr. Dinh is fluent in English and Vietnamese and can perform eye exams in Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, traveling across Asia, meeting new people, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
